Bridge the Gap
Dear Friends of Christ the King Catholic School,
I want to thank each of you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support during these difficult and uncertain times. I'm happy to report that despite last springs transition to virtual instruction and this year's face masks and social distancing the students at CKCS continue to thrive.
Our fundraising efforts however, have not fared as well. AS you know, the 2020 Sausage Fest was cancelled for the health and safety of our school community and the Tri-City community at large. And rather than reaching out to our local businesses to ask for Auction donations and sponsorships during a time when they are likely experiencing their own financial hardships, we chose to cancel both the 2020 and the 2021 Spring Auctions. To make up for the lost revenue from these traditional fundraisers we will be kicking off a substantial Bridge the Gap fundraiser event - think of it as a Sausage-Auction-Gap Appeal. Our goal is to raise $120,000. Yes, this is an optimistic goal, but one that I believe we can achieve if everyone works together.
We kick off our 2021 Bridge the Gap Appeal February 12th! With your help, we can continue to carry on the CKCS tradition of providing a high-quality Catholic education to all families who desire this for their children. Your financial support will allow us to continue our mission and form virtuous Catholic leaders who are well-prepared for the challenges of high school and beyond.
I pray in thanksgiving for your continued support and ask God to bless you and your families.
